On Wednesday, 08/12/09, left for the unknown. His parents are out of a job and decided that it would be “better” for everyone if they bought a bus and shoved them and all 4 kids into it and drove away. To where they will go, they don’t even know.

But this is just the beginning. On Thursday morning I awoke at 5:45am. I tried to go back to sleep but I found I couldn’t. I couldn’t because I couldn’t stop thinking about him. Soon I began to cry. I came to the sudden realization that I was going to be very alone. He was the only one that was always there to hang out with. I’d go to the mall with him. I’d sit up till 1am with him. I’d walk in the park for 3 hours with him. For 4 years I was not without that kid and now he’s gone. It’s like someone just pulled the earth out from under my feet. Of course I have other friends like but she goes back to college in two weeks.

Dennise and Quan have each other. They don’t need me. Hell, they probably don’t even want me. And I don’t want them. I will not end up as the third wheel with those two. Elias, he’s just too difficult. I can’t even walk to his house to hang out. He complains about everything and refuses to leave his computer. What’s left for me here? Is my life just going to be “Get up, go to work, come home, sleep, get up, go to work, come home, sleep”?

I’m too young to be living the “adult life” now. But that’s what it’s going to be. I almost thought about sacrificing my Saturdays off and just work, so I have something to distract me from the loneliness. He says he will return, but I know he won’t. He says he will call and email me, but I know he won’t. He might at first but soon it will slow, then stop and our friendship will be all but a memory.
